In 2013, on a walk in the Marais Poitevin we fell in love with La Ronde des Marais. From the first visit we knew how we wanted to develop the house, making it as environmentally friendly as possible. Two years later we embarked on the project.

The European Ecolabel is a label of environmental excellence that is awarded to products and services that meet stringent environmental standards throughout their life cycle.
Thus, La Ronde des Marais undertakes to look for the most appropriate means to allow its guests to benefit from an environment and quality services for the smallest ecological footprint possible: pellet boiler, low consumption light bulbs, contract with Enercoop, green electricity supplier, citizen renewable energy, waste recycling, "second life" furniture ... everything is designed so that the guests' stay leaves only good memories, both to them and to nature.
The cottage La Ronde des Marais is for all those who wish to change their surroundings without systematically traveling by plane, and prefer nearby destinations. The owners undertake to advise their guests to take advantage of the rich heritage of their region, guide them to activities close to nature, such as walks to observe the local fauna and flora, and introduce them to ecological gestures easy to reproduce at home.
